Thread: server or client sql server with asp.net.?

If I go to sql server login with the server type: Database Engine, and Authentication: Windows authentication, on the left side of the window I right click on Databases and then click on "new database..." and create tables, is it stored on the server or is it stored on the client (on the server right?). The website is being made with asp.net. Thank you.
