When in a public bathroom, is it better for the environment to use the automatic hand dryer, or to dry your hands with the paper towels provided?

i would have to say the automatic dryer. reason being because paper towels come from trees...if trees are cut down then the oxygen in the atmosphere is cut and that's no good.
