A paper tray was folded, to have an area of about 550cm cubed, with a height of 3cm folder upwards.
This was dropped from a fixed height. The time taken was measured, for different masses in the tray, and an average was acquired for each total mass. Then the speed was calculated with the formula speed = d/t

I found that as more mass was added to the centre of the tray, the average speed increased.
