    $25 plan

has anyone gotten cricket to switch them as an existing customer to the $25 plan?

Also would it work to cancel service the day before you are billed on your monthly cycle and then the next day activate new service on the $25 plan?

    $25 plan

did you do it over the phone or through a cricket corp store. I never have any luck with the cricket corp stores because they all seem to think the 25 is not available to anyone who is already a cricket customer at least the telephone reps tried and failed due to their computer not letting them.

but then they want to charge the 15 plan change fee and the 15 esn change fee

    $25 plan

it depenRAB on your market, some markets have a $25 plan right now.

OP: no, you cannot migrate to the $25 plan. you would have to port out your nuraber, start a new account, and port the nuraber back in, and that would technically be fraud according to cricket's terms and conditions. you should be able to use the phone you already have, tho some dealers may tell you (incorrectly) that you need to buy a phone because it really is a waste of our time for what they let us collect for CPE activations. if you are in a market with the current $30 plan I believe you can migrate to that, and also the $35 promotional offering we have right now in some markets.
