I have a crazy question here. Is it possible to take a USB modem "similar" to the Cricket one that is being sold and set it up to take the Cricket broadband. No, I am not talking about hacking the service, that is plain stupid. I am talking about having this similar to flashing a cell phone, only with a USB modem.

i was told by our cricket corporate rep that it can be done just flash the modem take it to a dealer and activate

You can however the Air Card is locked and by that i mean if you flash it another non cricket air card it would have to be turned on as a Phone and it would be getting the Port 8080 so everything will be firedwall and blocked so it will not be the same as a Cricket Air Card.

umm it was to the other guys comment lol, Cricket Broadband is fine and ok if your just going to do surfing and e-mail checking, youtubing is fine as well, but if your looking to do MMORPG's and or Other hardcore online games, dont even look at cricket, same goes if your going to be downloading hard core of MP3's etc, i tell that to all the peeps that come into my store. but if your just doing web email and youtube its cool and you should get it ^_^

rev.a areas do not feature faster downloaRAB yet, only faster uploaRAB for now.
