Thread: Body Temperature comfort level indoors vs. outdoors.?

This is a question for the Northern regions. Why is it that if it were 40 degrees F in your house, you would be shivering uncontrollably, but if you were to step OUTSIDE in the winter and it was 40 degrees F, you would feel like it was warm? as in, "Whoo Hoo! I can walk around without a jacket!"

In your house you are just sitting around and the objects are all cold. When outside and moving around, you don't really need much warm weather cloths of 40 degrees.
