Thread: Tramadol

I was taking Darvocet for chronic nerve pain. Since the ban, she switched me to Tramadol. I am afraid to take it. Any advice? Can you take it just as needed?

I can help you this. I ultram, it does not work for me to lose a lot, but body weight. They gave me back vicodian. I take ultram every 4 hours and did not help. Hope this helps you, I have taken Tramadol - makes me feel sick, but also to retain large amounts of water. Bad. I have been too daze function. Although the pain is to reduce.

Tramadol is highly addictive. When I started taking it my doctor told me it wasn't addictive and he was completely wrong. I've searched the web and have read many horror stories of people trying to get off of it. I still take it because I can't stand the side affects of quitting. When the doctor prescribed it to me he told me it worked as an antidepressant as well as a pain reliever. It did do that, but he failed to mention how hard it is to quit taking it. My advise is to not start it.
