Thread: If you ask a girl out will she automatically become your girlfriend?

Because i'm 13 and my parents have rules about not having a gf till 17.I'm thinking of asking a girl I know to a valentine dance. Me and her know each other pretty well but I don't think she likes me that way yet. should I ask her? Should I kiss her at the end (hey it is valentines) or would she find that too pushy after one dateI have so many questions because I never have been on a date or had a gf

In high school, yes. In the real world, no. You can ask the girl out, but make sure she knows that it's a date and you're not her boyfriend. You don't have to kiss her either.

it is ok to have just 1 date if you want or if she wants. Being friends is good too. Just take one fun date at a time. There are no set rules.

Not if she doesn't want to be know, it's not like a binding contract or anything :PYou can always be 'good freinds' and get to know each other better before taking that next step of being around each other even more so. As far as the kiss, if she seems into you, a peck wouldn't hurt, unless she shows you some fish lips and then you can give her a full on face snog XD (not really, but on the lips anywho)
