Here's the deal, I'm not sure what I should do now, regarding this guy I really like. Here's the deal, I met this guy named Jake at homecoming, After that I asked him out to get coffee, we did, after the whole coffee thing we just kind of talked after school as we walked to the bus, so my friend had hte bright idea of having me ask him to the sweethearts dance, which I did, but he said he couldn't go because he had already been asked. He was very polite and sweet about it. (: He also said he would have gone with me if he hadn't been asked.So I was wondering, what should I do now? Should I just keep talking to him? I'm alright with him saying he can't go. Granted, I had a cry about it, but my hormones are raging, so I'm welcome to that.I'm in no way shape or form upset about him not going to the dance with me. (:He's not going out with anbyody that I'm aware of...

Don't be upset; he's not turning you down for who you are.It's just a matter of not being quick enough to the spot.I'm sure he was being nice to the other girl; people go to dances just as friends, you know, so don't give up!Keep talking with him! But PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO MAKE HIM GO WITH YOU instead of the other girl he is going with.Don't do that.

Well, i dont see why you should stop talking to him. Just coz he didnt say yes to go to the dance with you doesnt mean you two should stop talking.Keep in mind that he only said no coz he'd already been asked by someone else. And i would give him kudos for being respectful to the girl he agreed to go with initially coz he couldve been a douche to her and said yes to you (that way dumping her for you...but he would have the capacity to do that to you one day!).So...yeah....continue talking to him!!

he's obviously not interested in you as a girlfriend right now, so try to respect that and don't be obvious about your crush on him. but in the meantime, just stay close friend with him and just hang out every once in a while. you two obviously like spending time together, so just chill. later on, when he needs your help for something, be there for him, so then he can see the other side of you who wants to be with him.good luck
