My feature search resulted in these - Galaxy S II, Optimus 3D, Optimus 2X & Atrix 4G

I'm looking for:
Minimum 4 inch display
Android at least upgradeable to 2.3
No qwerty
At least a 5mp camera (prefer an 8mp)
Flash
Auto focus
HD video
Front facing camera

I wasn't necessarily looking for dual core but that's where we ended up. I would like to be as future proof as possible. Opinions?

Galaxy S II from reviews thus far give it the best android phone made to date hands down. Out of those 4 I would say that one.

All of them sounds like they would fit your needs. Of the four I would lean to the Galaxy SII. As it is, it sounds like its the most powerful and comes with Android 2.3 right off the box while the others are 2.2, waiting for 2.3. Mind you, there is also HTC Sensation and EVO 3D that is coming though I'm not sure about the front camera on those. But if you want OS upgrade guaranteed and don't mind single core, there is always the Nexus S but it won't do HD video recording.

Of the features that I'm looking for, the front facing camera is the least important. Actually it's the one I can live without but HD video is the only reason I'd spend over $500.00 on a cell. I guess I could look for a non HD phone in the high $300.00's.
