1999 3.4L V6 pontiac grand am? and ik this might be a dumb question, but ik firebirds are rear wheel drive and grand ams r front wheel drive. would that be a issue as well?

That engine cannot be installed in a transverse position in that car unless you have more money than sense.
It would require MAJOR surgery to the Pontiac and major expense.
