    Equality of the sexes, and probably sakk. (Not sure what that is, must be a mispelling of something else.)

    Islamic culture does not recognize the equality of the sexes, that is for sure. Also, they do not have much to do with algebra either. According to the Wikipedia article, algebra was developed by the Greeks, the Babylonians, and the Persians, long before the Muslims appeared on the scene. We need to debunk the myth that Islam somehow promoted learning and culture. No Islam-dominated place today is known for anything of the sort.
