I work 13 hour shifts at night (7p to 8a). I've put on some weight since I began working nights, I'm still not overweight, but I'm heavier than I've ever been. I don't get the amount of sleep that I should, and it's hard for me to eat healthy (because long shifts don't leave a lot of time for cooking, so I find myself grabbing quick unhealthy meals. I also have a hard time balancing my eating when I'm going for so long), remain active (I used to go for jogs or long walks, but now I'm in bed during daylight hours), or live a healthy lifestyle with the hours I keep. Any suggestions?
