Photoshop not working?

Whenever I go to load photoshop, it loads up, but right as it should be done loading, it automatically quits and I get the "this program quit unexpectedly" notice.

I've tried rebooting, re-installing, installing different versions (CS, CS2, etc.), but it continues to happen.

Other similar programs load just fine (Illustrator, Final Cut Pro, etc). Any ideas??

Uninstall PHotoshop. Reboot.
Run DEFRAG.
Reboot.
Install Photoshop again, this time selecting a different folder name for it to install to.

There could be a problem with not having enough ram available for the program to use. You may also want to repair disk permissions by going into the disk utility program and select your hard drive and hit repair permissions.
