    Ford Contour Engine shaking?

i have a ford contour lx 1997. the check engine light is on with codes p 0133 and 2 more. my engine is shaking in too hot or too cold weather. the experts are confused and ask me to change oxygen sensor and mass air flow sensor. can any one tell me has MAF sensor anything to do with shaking engine. I ran the car for 2 days without MAF sensor (Connection disconnected) the car ran fine only one day i felt a minor shaking. can any one advise me on that?

well the mass air flow measures the air coming in to the engine, so if its shaking it most likely is because your ecu(electronic computer unit) is metering the fuel consumption to what the senser is telling it, if its not reading it will send too little or too much fuel to the cylandars and youll get a shaking because each cylandar firing is running lean or weaker than the others causing an unbalance in rotation of the crank, try the sensor first
