How do I get the lifestyle really wanted?

My lifestyle is becmming to much for me, I can feel it
all building up. I'm very interested in meditation
and I know how to solve the problem by being more
spirtual in nature. But, my pysical desires have overwhelmed
me. I drink all the time, I smoke whenever I want.
I've read so much about buddhism and hindu practices but
I've lost tough with it all. I want to return to it, but I can't.
Now my gf wants to get married but im not even sure
I want to have that kind of life style. I feel like I'm being sucked
into the ordanairy western lifestyle that I was born into when
really deep down I wanted a mediative lifesyle like going to tibet
or Japan to meditate with monks or something. Does anyone know
of or heard of a place where I can just go just be with spirtual people
and meditate with them for a while or possibly a whole
    lifestyle change.

I believe your mindset has swayed a little bit. When this happens your pursuit of happiness becomes a little more difficult to achieve. The proper focus is key to achieving what you want in life, but those small defects you complain about are what's stopping you. Analyze what the root of evil is that is preventing you from achieving your goals, then you can work on eliminating the problem.

Yes my friend go to a church. It seems that you have an empty void in your life and no monks, meditating or buddhism can fill that. You need god in your life. God worked wonders in my life and I am certain he can do the same for you.
