    constant over heating on my suzuki grand vitara 2.0 diesel can i get a

    failsafe thermostat to fit? i have just had a brand new cylinder head for my suzuki, also new pump. diesel oil filter, also thermostat, after a short time the engine overheated again by blowing the bottom hose off thinking it was the thermostat that had stuck fast, i now would like to no will a fail safe thermostat help

    No I do not think it will as I doubt whether that is the problem.
    I reckon you have a partially blocked radiator and that is causing the problems.
    There is also the possibility that the repair work has not been done properly and the head is blowing again and pressurizing the system
