You'll need two separate businesses. You can't have a pet care and a day care. There are issues of disease and bacterial infection as well as issues of child safety. You do not know the types and temperments of the animals you will be taking in on a daily basis. I don't see these things happening together. You'd never get a license to run the child day care if the state or county came to inspect and saw a kennel in the same place.
