...serious agian? And show that they are just more fool around less play the game and win. Even though it was the pre season it is something the players have to take serious.

He had been kicking in practice and doing well at it. The kicker was hurt and they gave him a try. If he wasn't taking it serious, he wouldn't have tried to even make the PAT. Give them a break. If he's good at it then let him fill in.
First, the preseason is just ridiculous. I wouldn't even find a close game exciting. Also, what did you expect them to do after Graham was injured in pregame warm ups.
they needed a kicker. he could kick.
square peg to square hole here.
plus, if he puts it thru, then you know that if something happens to the kicker you've got someone else who can kick.
their kicker was injured anyway...
Absolutely Not.
Teams very rarely keep two kickers on the roster; cincy was one of the teams that do. One of them wasn't available (i think it was a suspension) and their kicker for that game has strained a muscle. Somebody had to kick for them, and he had a soccer background, so he went out there and got it done.
How does that mean they aren't serious?
Chad was a kicker in high school
and is a big soccer fan
H'e been practicing kicking for years
I guess he is their back up kicker now
I gotta give him credit for this one
who knew?
No, it's doing what's necessary to win... just like James Harrison (OLB by trade) long-snapping for a game last year. Even though he hadn't done it in years, he was the best available option when their regular LS was injured.
Ochocinco does have the ability to step up and be a teammate, usually when it involves him getting an ego boost.
No, I don't think so. It was kind of goofy, but he kicked well and got it through the uprights, right?
Who takes preseason games seriously? Why should they? The purpose isn't to win. The purpose is to evaluate the players, all the players. Where'd you get that idea?
