    can you use mountain bikes on cycle trainers?

    i just need to no because im sick of going out, riding in the rain, and cold. i can't buy a road bike right now because i am saving up for a car. Thanks.

    It depends on the trainer, some are flexible enough to cope with different sizes of bike.
    You will also need to buy a new set of tyres if your mountain bike has knobblies on it. A trainer will need slick tyres.

    yes. most trainers fit (the resistance unit moves to reach for the smaller 26'' wheels)

    You could get a cheap back wheel with a trainer tyre (note: these are not for road riding) or a slik 26'' tyre, and exchange when you still want to go for a road ride.
