Getting married in a court house?

I'm getting married at the court house today and I've never been to a court house wedding before so I don't really know how it works. They say we make a "donation" to the judge, how much of a donation is acceptable?

Also, about how long does it take and I don't have to "walk down an aisle" or anything like that, right?

I would appreciate any details anyone has for me.

It is usually very short and about as unromantic as it can get. Not what I would choose, but since your in a hurry , I guess it will do. A small gratuity is usually in the $20-$25 dollar range.
