What would be the headline if a Republican majority government tried to

push a unpopular bill through Congress? Can you imagine if a Republican President with majorities in both Houses tried to push through a bill with only 33% public support?

What would be on the front page of the New York Times or USA today?

I think the headline would be:

Partisan fundamentalist conservatives ignore the will of the people!!

THey would probably call the President a faschist, unlike the Communist dictatorship Obama is building now.

Stalin didn't care about public opinion either.

Our government is ignoring us. It has for a while. And it goes back before Obama was elected. The original TARP vote was hugely disliked by the American public and yet they voted for it. Now it is worse as it is even more lopsided. This government doesn't care what the public thinks. They know what is best for us. It is freaking scary.

And the headline would be way more sinister than that.
