any input, suggestions? I ran an old analog yellow cable to video 1 and nothing. I even changed the settings on the TV. Does anyone have any suggestions that might work or is ita moot point?

Make sure the yellow is a video out and not a component out.

Guesttry hdmi coz it's only one cable n can't go wrong but tv has to b set 4 hdmi though.good luck.
