My oil gauge and gas gauge in a 1992 ford explorer dont work.?

Since the two are on the same panel could it be a fuse and if so what fuse? My boyfriend swears it's not a fuse but I dunno....

If both the Fuel gauge and the Oil gauge are out check Fuse # 17 in the Fuse panel. If it is OK, then I would suspect the Slosh Module on the back of the Instrument panel.
