    2000 ford focus - PH3600 oil filter?

The PH3600 oil filter is the same size IN and OD as a PH8316, does it matter if i use that instead?
I can't find much info on this other than the PH8316 is what is suggested for my car....

It matters. You probably can't or shouldn't use the 3600. Even though the filter can might be the same size the screw threads might be different or the gasket might be in a different location.
