3 n half month old suffers trapped wind and colic help?

i have a 3 n half month old and he is colic, he has colic drops which work brilliantly but still has loads of wind and sometimes cant get it up (he wont sleep long cause his wind wakes him up with belly ache), i have tried boiled water, gripe water, buying dr browns bottles but still suffers. is there anything else i can do/ use to help get wind up or just have to bear it out till he goes to solids, its driving me crazy and making me depressed.

You might try switching formulas. I used this: part soy and part milk-based formula, only one containing iron. Then do this: hold baby in an upright position, while feeding. Tip head back and hold back, straight. Burp, often.

Your baby may be sensitive to dairy or something else in the formula.
