Usually depending on your laptop... you should have a DVI cable input that you can plug in to your TV from your PC or you can use DVI to HDMI.. On my PC I have HDMI input that I can hook up to my TV... hope this helps !

How can i hook up my 42in plasma panasonic viera to my dell computer to watch a movie?

i want to use it as a moniter but the connections i have with i cant quite figure out how to use or where to plug them into, in order for it to work. i only have av hook ups for it. is there a special cord to buy that has the typical moniter plug in for the computer and av cords to plug into the tv. Or is there another way to do it? thank you
