The only thing you'll win is the deduction, difference in insurance premium, and the difference in the value of your car pre-crash and post-crash.

I was in accident on april 7 2010. I rear ended someone, I was going about 30-35mph and the car had came to a sudden stop so when I saw that I immediately braked, no lie it took my car forever to stop. The only reason why my car stopped was because it hit her car. When I called my insurance company and gave my statement I said maybe it was my tires, the rain mixed together which didn't allow me to stop. Thank god I had full coverage and low deductible of $250. Well my car got fixed and I thought everything was okay, until I got letter saying that my car (2005 Cadillac CTS) was under a recall due to the brake hoses and assemblies. The letter said that basically it can mess with brake fluid, increase braking distance, and this problem can result in a crash. So now Im waiting on them to investigate my case and tell me what they decide. I was curious on do I have a big enough case to call a lawyer? and possibly win. I need some advice Thank you in advance.
