Joomla, please explain why? which is better to use for a business directory site, PHP LINK DIRECTORY or Joomla, please explain why? I want to know the benefit of using either and more info is highly appreciated. Thanks!

Hello Colanth, thanks for your answer but the reason I was asking is because I want a business directory that people can log in, write articles and comment on the blog. What do you suggest to use ? PHP directory is only for adding businesses you cannot add articles or viral features. Help ?
