Some more info on this phone: Nokia 8600 "Luna" gets some details - Engadget Mobile
So the luna is official today! It featuresquad-band GSM / EDGE, a 2 megapixel camera, translucent smoked glass slider over the keypad, and a nokia first; micro-USB port.
Here's some good pics of it on engadget mobile: Engadget Mobile
I think this phone in Europe in the best Nokia 8600 so price is very still high
The 8600 luna is not all that special and it looks to be a finger-magnet
for a phone that has no memory card slot, 3G or WLan the price on the market seems high but than again its a nokia and its built to last
Nokia makes great phones but the price of this phone seems too steep.
Actually that's really a good one,so cool!
I had to smile when I read the Nokia press release for their upcoming release of the stainless steel encased 8800 and 8801. Words such as:
connoisseurs, subtly glides, meticulously considered, to complement the prestige, heighten the experience, exclusive audio accompaniment, award-winning composer, elegance, Zen-like, epitome of style and elegance, organic flowing lines, dynamic surfaces, tensile strength, destined to age with grace, bi-stable spring mechanism and stainless steel ball bearings, aural accompaniment, emotion that touches both heart and mind
.... were littered throughout. I wasn't sure if they were referring to a phone, a statue, a portrait, a car or a european sound system at times . At any rate, sounds as though it will be a very interesting phone; but I wasn't able to find any pics. I'm gathering you can even use it to make phone calls.
This one is quiet attractive with 2 mega pixel camera.Though the cost seems to be bit higher
