Thread: Nokia 5100 Operator logo and screen saver

Hi is their any way to remove the operator logo from the nokia 5100 and is their a way to change the screen saver.

I know three are alot of topics out their but none for the nokia 5100 and most of them dont work. please help me and not refer me to some other post on the site unless it is specifically for the 5100. thanx in advance

the option in man phone is grayed out saying their is none in memory

removing operator logo can be kinda fudged by uploading a 1x1pixel transparent gif to the phone and using it as an operator logo

nope,... only for 3100 so far,...

The screensaver can be changed only from the 3100 models later.
Anyways, you wouldn't want to change that screensaveer, as that's the most battery efficient screensaver and won't guzzle battery life.

alternatively you could flash your phone with the 3100 firmware. You'll get moving screensavers,
BUT then there won't be IR, and no Radio(FM)
