Already have a couple 3100's. I'm considering the 9242 for PVR functionality and multiple tuner support for rec room and bedroom. Not interested in HD upgrade right now so can I just run my 2 coax's from the existing LNB to the 9242 inputs?

Yes, there is no reason it will not work at all.
You will get a new Dish & extra LNBF and SW44 for free if you buy from Best Buy or Future Shop Etc.
If you are considering Renal I would also subscribe to Salt & Pepper, @ $3 per month for 6 months and get full installation for FREE.
Isn't the 9241 the same as the 9200? In which case one TV should have COMPONENT plugs, even if the TV is not HD, otherwise he won't be able to hook the 2 TV and have different programming on each
No, the 9242 has Composite Output for TV1, it also has "S" video for TV1, so connecting it to 2 SD TV's is real easy.
The 9241, I assume was a typo, this receiver has not yet been launched.
