Oh great. Now they are accusing Verizon and ATT of collusion, and saying that Morgan Stanley had a conflict of interest in handling the sale because they own a big chunk of Atlantic. They are recommending that the DOJ do a full investigation before the FCC makes a decision. I would be very surprised now if this buyout gets approved anytime soon.

I have absolutely no knowledge of 700MHz so whether it is better, worse or indifferent in a rural market, and therefore I could not and would not comment, but didn't the safety agencies (I believe Federal and State) file for use of the 700 MHz frequency? Would that not preclude making that band unavailable?

I believe that was the "D" block that went unsold at the auction. VZW got a different block (C?) that is nearly nationwide.

I hate to bring up politics. All I'll say on it though is that I am almost certain it would've been approved by now under our previous administration.
