SMS messages will store on the SIM card, not BlackBerry emails.

so you are just receiving the same email(s) several times?
You could try to log into Gmail, Settings, Forwarding and POP - and tell it "Enable POP only for mail that arrives from now on" - not sure if this will help or not but worth a try.

what do you mean the SMS folder? You mean "Messages" icon? or did you tell Messages to separate SMS/MMS from Messages under Options. Are you getting multiple emails because you see it in the email account icon and in Messages perhaps? Or are you getting the same email in the same location (example: under Messages you see it listed twice)?

The Message Icon gives you any message sent to your BB, including SMS, MMS, Emails, BB MEssenger, PINs, and OZ Messager.

You can edit your Messengers to not show up in this folder. Also if you go to Messages, Options, General Options, and go to the bottom where it says "SMS and Email InBoxes."

Change setting to "seperate," then hide the messenges folder. Your emails will still get sent to the Messages folder, so thats why I hide it and just use my email icons. This setting will give you a new Icon: "SMS/MMS" as well!

If these settings don't solve the problem then I don't know...

why dont you go to googles mobile website and download their g-mail application? that might work rather than trying to forward it to you.
