But I'm guessing its possible to leave deposits on them? I think the bikes sick even though the previous generation monster holds a special place in my heart (atleast the S2r & 4R models)

Yes most dealers have already started to collect reservations. We have 2 now spoken for
How can you not like a Monster? But the naked/streetfighter look just doesn't do it for me. Looks like someone wrecked there sportbike and couldn't aford new plastics to fix it.
The new Street fighter seems very KTM Super Duke to me, not my cup of tea but still cool.
Dave R the pictures are really great and really looks like compared to what I have seen here previously. Thank you for the time it took to make this post. I know everyone really appreciates it.
PIC#15 Best Looking Bike @ show
PIC# 22 Best Runner up @ show, "The Truck"
PIC# 70 Love the Parilla
PIC# 9 Looks good covered up
PIC#63 Like the clutch cover
PIC#83 Girls expression on left pretty well sums it up in my eyes. I personally will be surprised if this style bike is a big seller....time will tell.
Sun must not shine very much at all in Seattle....only one girl with any Sun on her and then that was what you would say ala natural. Though I bet she was the hit of the party.
I like the Streetfighter but I wish they had kept to the Monster design style and just beefed it up with a bigger engine and high performance shocks etc...etc....etc...
I'm sure once i take one for a spin I will want to add one to the stable.
Dave R,
Looks bad ass!
Hey, do you guys at Ducati Seattle sell those stickers like the one on the shield, In your Avatar?
no we don't sell them but we would be happy to just send you a few..
I agree with you 100% on that. Love the look of the S2R/S4R Monsters, don't so much like the looks of the newer versions (looks rather contrived to me with the tank air vents, odd headlight, and split frame, passenger peg mounts, and dirt bike type exhaust header). I was hoping that they would just update the existing design with a buffed up engine and more modern mechanicals but unfortunately that didn't happen. If I still decide to pickup a Ducati it will have to be an "old" model. The Streetfighter looks OK but it's more bike than I need for an everyday commuter, putting around town, short trip machine.
you know I HATED the hyper when it came out and I came around to it. So I am sure someone will make something way cool from that start. but I think its like ten-6 said
this is Ducati's direct shot at the KTM.
