I don't want to sound like a total ass even though I am located at such. But, did you think.... Casey had a lifetime contract with Ducati until elegible to draw social security retirement? This stuff happens all the time with all professional riders and drivers from all teams. Contracts are made for a period of 3 to 5 years, If the rider/driver is happy with the current team and the team can substantiate their pay then there's no problem and a new contract goes underway. Now, eventually the team/sponsor opt to let the rider go if not satisfied with the rider or can not pay what the rider demands. You think Valentino will stay with Yamaha forever?
i hope that he stays, but if he leaves, i hope Lorenzo will consider Ducati this time around
Well not that I'm giving up on him, but what the hell is the problem this year. Nicki is getting faster/better, while Casey is losing the front and back. Overall Ducati will do what it takes to win!
if he can not get the bike to work for him this season, he may look else where.
Funny that last years bike worked well for casey and nicki had a bad time of it ... this season has done a 180.
bye bye casey
Like I said earlier, when the team is not satisfied with the rider they just let them go if you know what I mean.
He is good, has awesome skills (slides the entire bike not just the rear) and by far, rides one of the most desired machinery in motorsports but all of the high/low sides are taking a toll on championship chances.
I think it is a question of when not if Stoner is replaced
If he does infact leave, I would like to see spies on the desmo to see how it suits his style. But Yama will prolly keep him around for a bit or maybe move him up to factory if Ros or Loren leave.
Why would they want to "replace" the fastest man on the bike and since 2006 the only proven winner on it?
