The successor to the very popular T68 series has finally been released. The recently announced T610 offers everything the T68 series does with the additional benefits of a new look with a metal body, a bigger, brighter screen, and a built in camera. Additionally, the GPRS download speed has been increased by 33%.

And unlike the old T68, the T610 will support downloadable games designed for both Java and the Mophun platforms.

Sean and I got a chance to play around with a number of them at CeBIT, and we were both really impressed. This really looks like it could be a big seller for the struggling Sony Ericsson.
