Try using the 3m Dual Lock to mount it. It is like industrial velcro but stronger...

To any of you guys that have purchased the J&M amp and do not need the lower brackets for the CB/Xm relocation please PM me if interested in selling it.
If its for installing on your own bike, you can have mine for free...just pay for shipping. If its for reselling, you can have it for $100 plus shipping.
ramnj,
Thanks for the generous offer. It was for my own bike and if only I had held out for 15 more minutes. I ended up paying someone for one before I got your response.
I would sure like to have the bracket.
I'll pay you something for it.
Let me know.
Don
No problem. I sent you a PM. What bike do you have?
Another friend of mine just installed the amp and speakers on the weekend. He has the CB bracket for sale as well. If interested PM me and I'll get in touch with him.
Drew
Thanks ramnj!!
I got the bracket today. I hope to try and mount it in the next day or two.
Sure hope this thing fits. From what I remember it is awfully tight under there.
I owe you a couple of beers for your quick turn around.
Don
Dr. I think you should get J&M to let you sell just the mounting brackets.
There are a ton of guys that already have a Arc or Elf amp that could benefit from the mounting brackets.
J&M wouldn't be losing business to a competitor because we are not in the market to buy an amp anyway. They would actually be making money off of other amp users then.
