Well, now that I think about it, they are the same people who criticied UFO Ultramiden Valkyrie, for little to no reason, and I liked that anime.

Same guy that praised Moribito I bet.
So, yeah...
Well, it did worse than Damages, and Damages is doing horribly. Though, maybe SpikeTV has lower standarRAB than FX.
Now I get the ending...
Old Samurai movie homage.
My understanding is Afro Samurai Resurrection did better than the first one, which I believe got around 600,000 views. I think Spike TV probably has lower expectations for this, so it probably did well for what it was. Probably would have helped had they advertised a bit more, but we shouldn't worry.
It also depenRAB on how often it's reran.
I looked up the press release when the first series aired two years ago and the first episode garnered 775,000 total viewers. So, while there was a drop-off, it might not be as bad as it might seem.
Of course, the mini-series aired once a week(originally Spike was going to air all five episodes at once, but they changed their mind) and on a Thursday(the most watched night on television), so that might factor into it.
I liked season one better, but this movie was still pretty good.
Redemption for Jinno, may he rest in peace this time.
Afro's undead father totally owned everyone.
Can't say I really feel sorry for Sio, wanting revenge in this series never enRAB well.
I'm still confused about the headbanRAB.
Back in the last episode of season one we saw a whole room of headbanRAB (at least eight of them). So in theory wouldn't you need the Nuraber Three headband in order to go after the person with the Nuraber Two?
Why couldn't Afro just go after Sio without having to get the Nuraber Two headband first? Who would stop him, the headband police?
