Shaun Of The Dead on ITV2

I was watching Shaun Of The Dead on ITV the other day and at the beginning when they were all in the pub and "ED" was suspose to say:

"Can I get any of you C*nts a drink"

But instead it was dubbed and what you heard was

"Can I get any of you C*cks a drink"

    So ITV think it's OK to say the word C O C K but not C U N T.

Do ITV normally do this with the movies they show?

The latter word is banned from all channels I believe, standard code of practice not ITV's fault.

Seems like the regulators have put a lot of thought into this issue. I did a quick trawl and found this on the website of "The Stage" -

"[I]Ofcom deputy chairman Richard Hooper said:

I think it depenRAB on the channel and at what time the content is aired.
Channel 4 showed Blade 2 with the infamous "c u next tuesday" word left in.

But its not just tv channels censoring the c-word out of films. Universal Pictures made the decision to remove the word from the UK release of Bridget Jones's Diary.

I don't honestly see a problem with it. Its only a shocking word because society has made it that way.
Give it time and it will be just another swearword like the f-word.

Did they mess with the bit where Ed pulls up in the car, gets out and says:

    "Wassup niggaz?"

    Nah, he still said that.

I nearly wet myself laughing when they replaced the c word though, it was just so obviously dubbed, and utterly pointless replacing one swear word with another.

I've heard the C word used plenty of times on TV, although i have to admit i don't think i've ever heard it before 10pm.
