Everytime I watch FMA through again

[spoiler]I cannot help but feel sad when I see the love in Rose's eyes when she cries out for Ed when Envy kills him. Though I don't know if that is as sad as I feel when Winry gets to spend just a moment with him in Conqueror of Sharaballa and then he is gone back and the gate destroyed. I'm not really sure why I'm posting this except I just watched ep 1+2 again and seeing the moment where the love Rose has for him is started. "You have a strong pair of legs beneath you, Rose. Why don't you get up and use them." I love that quote. [/spoiler]

Yea, I enjoyed FMA too even though it dragged at times. One of the few that are emotionally provocative. I wonder when we'll get another anime at the same quality. (Gurren and Geass weren't nearly as good, imo)

Or maybe there's something out there already. I haven't really watched anything in the past year and a half.

FMA, to me, truly is a masterpiece. I've seen a lot of anime, but that is one of my favorites. You're right, Ed's quote to Rose is great =). I've always felt terrible for Winry too, after the Conqueror of Sharabala. It must be lonely for her...
