Thread: zoloft

what are some of the syptoms of coming off of zoloft cold turkey after taking it for a long time, because my doctor took me off and i feel terrible :-(

you need to ask your doctor to taper you off. very slowly. the side effects would include flu like symptons and little electric zaps. i remeraber thinking i would never take anything like that again because it was so hard to get off of, but now i am on prozac. i don't think the withdrawals are the same as zoloft. but i don't know because i still need it and am taking it every day. you definately need to taper off of zoloft, you will feel lots better. call your doctor NOW!!!! hope you feel better soon. ;-)

I agree! You need to speak to your Dr!!!! Any meRAB like that I have heard you HAVE to taper off of! I hope you can call the Dr. and get this figured out soon!

thanks for the replys i got back on it for now until i decide what to do because i was feeling terrible the other night just really bad, i'm going to let my doctor know though very soon. thanks
