    I get them a LOT and I'm a 14yo girl

I don't really have the best explanation and i dont really know why we get em but I get em usually if i stand up too fast when sitting down and when its REALLLLLY hot out, Its kinda like what you see before you faint. Everything goes all white and "white noise" like and you loose your balance since you cant see

Hot flashes are the sudden, intense, hot feeling on your face and upper body, perhaps preceded or accompanied by a rapid heartbeat and sweating, nausea, dizziness, anxiety, headache, weakness, or a feeling of suffocation.

Hot flashes are mostly caused by the hormonal changes of menopause, but can also be affected by lifestyle and medications.

Eighty-five percent of the women in the United States experience hot flashes of some kind as they approach menopause and for the first year or two after their periods stop. Between 20 and 50% of women continue to have them for many more years. As time goes on, the intensity decreases.

    Hot flash triggers:

    alcohol
    caffeine
    diet pills
    spicy food
    hot food
    hot tubs
    saunas
    hot showers
    hot beds

    Hope I helped ! (:

When the flash of an atomic bomb goes off you get really hot. That's what a hot flash is

hot flashes or "flushes" are caused my hormonal changes. so it's possible for teens to get them too. it's like a part of your body heats up for a few seconds, then it goes away.

it only happens during menopause, so no. teens won't get them very often.
