    essential oils........?

    does red raspberry essential oil smell like raspberries?
    i was wondering because i wanted to add some to my conditioner so that it would smell like raspberries. that way my hair can smell like raspberries

    According to some websites red raspberry oil is distilled from the leaf - whether or not it will impart a nice raspberry smell is open to question
    It is also supposed to give a lovely sheen to your hair so it could be worth a try - if you can manage to purchase some - go for it and try it out but remember just a tiny bit to start with and if you need more add it drop by drop as an pure essential oil is usually very concentrated

    Essentially they are concentrated versions of the real thing. So be careful how much you use.
