    TV advertising becoming abusive?

I use DishTv satellite-it seems the commercials are taking up ever more program time. I've measured commercial time verse actual program time and was shocked! On average there is roughly 25-30 minutes of ad time in eadh hour of program time! Does this ever bother you-too much advertising? Seems like my television has turned into a advertising blabber box. Has anyone voiced complaints to anybody (satellite TV companies-the FCC-?). My fee has recently gone up $5 a month. I'm considering just quitting pay TV altogether. What do you think?

That just means they can't get outside sponsors to fill their air time. DishTv is running their adds so there's not dead air. But yeah it is very annoying. Comcast had these horrible commericals before I switched to WoWwhere these people were monotonely singing were grating, I was so glad I switched providers because it was getting way too annoying. But WoW does it too just the commericals aren't as "abusive"

*WoW means Wide Open West, not World of Warcraft.
