Problems with N95 WiFi (not set up related)

I have been using the WiFi on my phone for a few weeks now and it has been great but all of a sudden the WiFi has stopped working?? It can see the WLAN network but when it tries to connect the phone tries for a second and then reverts back to the last screen...

I've tried turning phone off/on, tried factory reset, tried deleting access point settings and starting with new, tried swearing at it and threatening it with a hammer all to no avail...

    Any ideas anyone?

Otherwise this phone is gadget of the century, had the N80 before and loved that but this knocks the socks of the N80, The perfect phone?

    Thanks,
    Mark

    How's that done then?

As an additional note, this all started to happen when I had the phone connected to the TV via AV cable and it was on charge, I don't know if this would make a difference?

Hmmm...I don't have those options on the menu...

I go Settings, Connection, Wireless LAN and then all I have is 'Show WLAN availability' and 'scan for networks' if the switched to yes ...

Untill I get these screenshots :-) anyone else throw some light on this? I have 28 days to take the N95 back and exchange it for another but I dont want to do that...

Is there any chance I may have cheesed the WiFi chip as it was plugged into the car screen and powered off the cigarette lighter?

    Thanks,
    Mark
