1994 Mazda B2300 2.3L engine compatible with a 1997 Ranger 2.3L Engine?

I found a 1997 Ranger 2.3L engine with 60,000 miles and wanted to put it in my 1994 Mazda B2300 but I wanted to know if I could drop the motor straight in with out any modifications and will all the accessories match up? I know that the 1994 Mazda B2300 and a 1994 Ford Ranger are the same vehicle but will the 1994 & 1997 be the same?
