I don't get it. Nobody ever said that a cricket phone won't work in an AWS market.
Yes you have a flashed phone and are in a cricket native AWS market. Now my question is where is the phone # from, what area code.
To my understanding cricket will not activate a non AWS phone in an AWS market or at least thats the case in Vegas.
But I can take my flashed phone and have service in Vegas no big secret with the new nationwide plans and coverage.
In your face, LMFAO
....
Of course Cricket works in AWS markets. Not only that, but they're one of the only carriers to use AWS frequencies. What would be the point of Cricket having AWS markets if their service didn't work in AWS markets?
LOL....
571-501-xxxx local are code....
PRL version 38288
my name, my add., inside AWS Market...before i had to make up some Pennsylvania address and i got a 412 area code...not anymore...
before i modified a nationwide PRLto remove Verizon's SID (which charged 35 cents/min due to roaming)
now i just tested that native PRL, and WALLAH... magic, without magic....
this totally makes no sense...
Verizon/Sprint = DUAL BAND (800mhz/1900mhz) eveywhere
Cricket = TRY BAND (800mhz/1900mhz some places, exept AWS) (1700mhz in AWS)
Verizon/Sprint phones are only DUAL BAND, meaning no native AWS cricket access...
however, you are actually using the PREMIUM EXTENDED COVERAGE, sprint has made agreements for cricket to use sprints network but only TALK/TEXT/CALLER ID/CALL WAITING/ basic features, BUT NO DATA...
and the point of them having an AWS market is to make money, hence all of the bandwidth is already taken by verizon/sprint..but they overcame the TALK/TEXT by making roaming arrangements...
So you are allowed to use a phone for talk and text but not data?
I cant argue "beggars cant be choosers".
Ya. A non-AWS phone will roam in an AWS market. This has always been the case, the only difference now is that roaming is unlimited.
I just don't see the breakthrough.
Nether do i, It isnt something some of us already knew
