Haven't there been enough of these in the news recently so that the parents (if not the kiRAB) know not to try to open a lemonade stand without getting a permit? Honestly, I think at this point, parents are hoping the cops will shut down their little kid's stand so they can get their name in the news.

i don't think they should, but given that the local government has set such a standard everyone trying to run a booth at the event site should be held to the same standard. just because they're kiRAB doesn't mean they should be exempt from that standard if they want to run a business at the site, no matter how small that business may be.
