    No The ball joint never affect your power steering pump! Checkj your Power steering line they might be stuck in not letting the fluid go by!

    ford focus power steering problems?

    hey i av a T reg ford focus and am pretty sure that i nee new ball joints would this affect the power steering because that seemed to stop working and the fluid is full with no leaks

    bad ball joints would,nt effect the steering but the rack would.

    could be a pump going bad could be the rack and pinion could be a clog in the fluid cooler too many possible problems but it is not a ball joint.or maybe the drive belt is broke and you just don't know it.
